Graphic design without sugarcoatings

This is a sensible, no-bullshit, straight-to-the-point, devoid of sugar-coating description instead of the social media's portrayal of a bunch of coffee-sipping Apple fanatic hipsters preaching about how 'cool', 'slick', 'edgy' graphic design is (with a cute background ukelele music) without even telling about the hard work, tradeoffs, and pain behind it. I've been designing for 10+ years and now, sometimes..... I want to get into basket weaving. All kinds of design are extremely Sisyphean jobs, most of the tasks are not made up of creative activity , but rather of logistics and marketing and sales , and in addition, overall it is also extremely harmful to the environment. According to my daily experience, it is a profession where practice, skill, and effort aren't always enough to guarantee to make a living. Tangled with the young leaves

I found and finished a two-year-old sketch on my hard drive—it’s one of my usual elf drawings, set in a wild, nocturnal spring scene with sparkling stars, her hair tangled with the young leaves. So: it is, of course, a hand-drawn illustration . I used a very old Wacom tablet and a version of Photoshop that was completely out of date. But I really miss the feeling of drawing on paper, so who knows what the future will bring. Enjoy. Ps.: And... I find updating Facebook a bit tedious (not that I do it much, but that's why). I have a strong feeling that I will be even less here/there after this. It would be better if people who are really interested in what I consider worthy of publication would just follow my regular blog. Or maybe they can just ask me in private, ha!

It was the last warm sunset of autumn. The leaves had fallen, and cobwebs were densely woven through the bare branches. The sky glowed with warm colors, but blue hues gathered high above, and distant lights twinkled dimly. When the fog was at its thickest, a tiny, dazzling white star appeared out of nowhere to join her. A fókusz és a narratíva már működik, de még finomhangolható. A lányka és a csillag közötti vizuális kapcsolat jó. Jól működnek a sziluettek és a ködös háttér, de pár további finomabb árnyalat vagy textúra a távolban még nagyobb térérzetet adhat. Színek és hangulat — jellegzetes, de néhány apró variáció lehet érdekes.. A pasztell háttér és meleg középpont nagyon jó, ugyanakkor néhány kevésbé telített színű levél vagy csillag még finom színjátékot hozhat. A mostani paletta már egységes, és ez erény; a kérdés, hogy később, ha sorozatot vagy más képet szeretnénk, mennyire akarunk egységes palettát megtartani. Addig is a mostani képnél is jól működik, hogy a főszereplő figy...
